Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect the information you give us directly — your email address, display name, the dreams you record, and journal entries you write. When you enable astrology features, you may optionally provide your date, time, and city of birth.

We also collect standard usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is processed by Vercel and Supabase.

How we use it

• —To power dream readings through our interpretation service. Your dream content is processed by our backend service and is not stored by any third party beyond what is necessary to generate your reading.
• —To match your dreams with others who shared similar dreamscapes.
• —To build your Dream Chronicle — a living narrative updated after each dream you submit.
• —To process payments through Stripe.
• —To send you match and message notifications.

Your dreams are yours

Private dreams are never visible to other users. Public dreams appear in the community feed and are used for matching. You can change a dream from public to private at any time from the dream detail page.

Your private journal is encrypted with a PIN of your choosing. We store a hash of that PIN — we cannot see your journal entries or recover your PIN.

Third-party services

Dream Beacons uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• ·Supabase — database and authentication
• ·Stripe — payment processing
• ·Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure

Data retention & deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, dreams, journal entries, and all associated data within 30 days. Stripe retains billing records as required by law.
